This is mainly for those over 18 who have full time jobs...

Who here has a nice job where you are able to post all day at work?

I don't often reply (heck look at my post count and how long I've been here), but yes, I am able to lurk about all day through MacNN.

Me!

Normally I'm overloaded with work, but there's been a bit of a lull the last 2 weeks, thank goodness.

I spend all day at work logged on macnn. I don't post too much, and I'm forced to use lynx sometimes when I'm being watched - but, being the only developer in the business, I get a bit of slack

I sometimes sit back and wonder just how boring work would be if I didn't have access to the internet.
Just who are Britain? What do they? Who is them? And why?

It depends on what I am doing. I'm at work right now, in a location where I have access to a computer, but that's not always the case. More often than not, I can check macnn while I'm working.

Depends on the workload. But hey, I own the place. What am I gonna do? Fire me?

I do. I'm a sysadmin for an ad agency, so we're mostly macs. There's a lot of product/troubleshooting/news knowledge in discussion forums, so I consider Macnn a valuable knowledgebase... but I stray to this section more than I should.

I used to, but stopped. Just because you can get away with it doesn't mean that it's in your best interests to. If you're at all interested in developing your career, spend that free time developing your skills or learning something new.

What if the MacNN Forums provide that "learning something new" for you?

I really don't have time to post while I am at work.

Our manager is gone, the Director is gone, I have to supervise a bunch a guys that require ongoing attention on top of all the reports, complaints I have to answer to.

And I have to replace my manager as well...

Also, our Internet used is closely monitored: no emails towards the outside, and only relevant web search.
