When throwing knives, make sure there are no light bulbs around you.

When I was practicing my throwing today, a knife bounced up due to it landing on the handle, flew up, and struck a tube bulb.

Luckily, I was out of range of the shards that fell. The noise was awesome though

Took me 15 minutes to sweep, and vacuum up the mess; along with replacing the bulb.

So again folks, throwing knives and light bulbs don’t mix.

Good to know. What kind of knives do you throw, and for what purpose do you practice knife throwing?

I have 8 of these.

They’re well balanced, and easy to throw. Besides today, haven’t had any accidents while throwing.

I primarily throw for a nice pass time, but who knows if it will ever come in handy for self defense.

I hope you vacuumed thoroughly-that should have collected the tiny amount of mercury vapor in the fluorescent lamp. While one lamp contains only a minute amount, it collects over time.

And what are you doing, throwing knives? You could put your eye out!!!
