Guys the personal snipes need to stop. This is the same kind of stuff I deleted in the 'Pictures of Yourself' thread. In the very near future I'll stop deleting and start dishing out some pain.

A Christmas Miracle has been performed and Secret Santa assignments have been made. You have one month to purchase a gift and sent (or have it sent) to the recipient. If you have not received info by PM, let me know.

Everyone, don't forget the $20 gift maximum.

Y'all should probably ensure that your wish list has more than one or two items <=$20, so that your buddy has some options.
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

So has anyone received anything yet? We got until xmas to deliver the goods, but I think that I am going to go ahead and do this early - while I still have money that has not been used on other things.

Someone special should be receiving something special by the 6th, or something.

Done.

Laminar, your presents are on their way. Let me know when they arrive. Merry Christmas!!!
No. I didn't really have Laminar--I am not saying who I had--but if we all tell him we did have him we could really f*ck with his head.

Just a quick note - if the items on your wish list are from a third party (not Amazon directly), you need to edit the wish list information and check the "Yes, let Amazon.com share my wish list shipping address with third-party merchants to ship purchases from this wish list" box.

It'd be amusing is someone ****ed with their secret santa and asked for anal beads, double-headed dildos, a vat of vasoline...

My SS arrived yesterday - My Fair Lady and Mary Poppins, each the two-disc special edition. The featurette on restoring My Fair Lady from nearly-destroyed film negatives was pretty fascinating.

Thanks secret santa!

My recipient's gift should be arriving at my office in the next few days, and I'll mail it out next week.

Secret Santa, cleverly disguised as a UPS delivery guy (with a UPS truck, even)
dropped off a special edition of The Blues Brothers DVD and a CD compilation of James Bond soundtracks 'The Best of Bond'.

It was quite generous of you Secret Santa, thank you! I'm thrilled.

Sorry, no pics.

Oops, you'd think there would be some sort of pop up or warning letting me know that my PM box was full. But, as you know, I get multiple PMs every day from timid posters begging me to protect them from the MacNN bullies, so the box fills up quickly.

Got my Secret Santa present today. I think it is a book (I gave it a shake) but whoever sent it paid extra for the gift-wrapping. Thank you; that was a nice extra touch.* I am leaving it wrapped and will put it under the tree. My family all decided not to do presents this year because of the poor economy--excepting the grandchildren--so this will be probably one of the few presents I get this year.

*Whoever got my presents didn't get them gift-wrapped so I could afford to buy the person two items on their list without going over (by too much) the $20 price limit. Sorry about that, I hope you like the presents even if they aren't gift-wrapped.
