Am I the only one for whom the video thumbnails on the right side jump all the way to the left now on Youtube in Safari? It's really annoying since it covers part of the video I'm watching.

On the other hand it's hard to believe Youtube didn't test against Safari. If it's me only, I wonder what is causing this glitch for me.

Not seeing the same here.

Safari Version 4.0.5 (5531.22.7)
Mac OS X 10.5.8
PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz Hi-res

Have you tried disabling any Safari add-ons (if you have any installed)?

Yes, this happens to me too - all the latest updates applied.

I have no Safari add-ons installed whatsoever.

I think it might happen only with videos that are in HTML5, not those who are still being served in Flash. Not sure how this could mess with the layout though.

They all jump over to the left here, as well - but don't cover the playing video.

Click2Flash installed here, but that's it.

I haven't had any issues like that, although I have had issues finding my way around. What an ugly layout.

That hasn't happened to me yet on Safari 4.0.4 (on Leopard) with Click2Flash, and I was on youtube for a while last night. I'm not too crazy about the redesign, though.

Meh. Try 10.4.11 and 3.2.1 - crashes the browser as soon as there's the slightest whiff of YouTube these days. Nowt extra installed aside from Perian.

OmniWeb 5.10.1, no such problem.

Have a feeling it's something to do with some odd scripting they're using on the "related" thumbnails list.

It's happening to me too. I have Click2Flash installed, but totally updated in every way otherwise. Also tried to watch a couple of videos and my 24" iMac made the loudest buzzing sound and the volume control did not affect it, only a restart made it stop. Scared the crap out of me. Flash, can't live with it, can't live without it. :-)

Same thing was happening to me, but making the window wider fixed it... Doesn't help if you're on a small screen and can't do that..

Happens here too on two machines, one with 10.6.2 and one with 10.6.3. No plugins installed in either browser.
Trust me. I'm a Taco.

I guess it's not the best sign that Google isn't even testing against Safari any more.

Odd. Narrowing down the window didn’t force this to appear here, either.

Well, I've been getting these errors now on the HTML5 beta consistently... but when I go to Flash, no issue at all.
