G4 500 processor dead?

	Hi, I just purchased an original G4 500 sawtooth processor card and replacing my G4 400 sawtooth card with it. I put in the 500 and power up, but I only get the fans to work, and nothing else comes on. Is there anything i'm missing to get this card to work, or is it dead? How do I know? I put the 400 back and everything works fine.
