If I was to just replace and backup of course Extras.rsrc would I be ok? Saves me the hassle of a theme changer as I don't change themes too often.

Yes, but you would not have the added consistency of the other theme components. Is there a reason you want to stay away from a theme changer?

I used to always just replace the Extras.rsrc file when switching. Very fast and easy and switches almost everything I need. The Finder.rsrc is also now needed for that little column resize thingy in the Finder windows. I think that's pretty much all a theme needs, and I really HATE it when a theme trys to replace my icons. I am an icon freak and I don't want some theme messing everything up.

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.
