Since you can send OE 5.0 messages in HTML, what about creating messages with the benefits allowed by HTML? Does anyone know how to include links, etc., in an outgoing OE mail message?

Along those lines, I would like to include HTML in my signature, for example, I would like to make my home page a clickable link.

Does anyone know how to do this? Otherwise, my outgoing messages are as good as being in plain text anyway.

Thanks.

If you send a message with a URL or email address in the body of the text, other email clients with the capabilities will show the link. Your recipients will be able to click on the text. For those who only have plain text email clients (Like Claris Emailer), if your recipients can Control+Click on the text, they should be able to start up their web browser or email client's new message command. The caveat to this is you need to have Internet Config or Apple Data Detectors. You will not see the clickable link in the message you are composing, but it does deliver as such to the recipient.

If you want to know more about making HTML messages that show inline pictures and tables, take a look at the following:

(You may have to copy and paste this in your browser window. I don't know of it'll be clickable in this forum.)
