Bought a standard PowerMac G5 - it came pre-configured without the wireless card.

Bought an Airport Extreme card and installed it - now I need the external antenna to screw into the back of the G5.

Where do I get an antenna from? It didn't come with the G5, and it didn't come with the Airport card. I can't find it on the Apple Store.

Help! How are you supposed to upgrade the G5 to wireless?

The antenna was supposed to be in the box even if you didn't get it with the airport card. Call Apple, they may just send you one.

I had called Apple (I was on hold while I posted!) and they said that you only get the antenna if you get it with the wireless option installed. Pretty useless if you get a card later! But kindly they are sending me an antenna; so well done and thanks Apple!

That is not true. I just installed an airport extreme card which I bought separately from my dual 2.7. The powermac came with the rubber antenna even though it wasn't pre configured with wireless. Call Apple back.

No, they are wrong.
I've gotten two different G5s without the wireless card and both came with a small T-Shaped antenna that you put in the back:
