I ordered a Mac Mini from the Apple Store with upgraded RAM, bluetooth and wireless on April 28th. I was later informed that shipping would be delayed until May 16th and yesterday, they informed me that it would be the 24th before the computer is shipped.
Is this normal in dealing with the Apple Store online? Any advice for future?

Sometimes when there are delays it is indicative of an upgrade in the system but I can't imagine an upgrade to something that is scarcely 5 months old.

Thanks for the insight. Small comfort when one is waiting for their new computer...

Word is a new Mini is on the way in June. Demand has been slow, and Apple is disappointed with sales. With complaints of slow hard-drives and wimpy video as far back as launch, I'd say an upgrade is due.
