As a "thank you" to those who use Apple's Renew environmental program to recycle older iOS equipment, the company has set up a public web page that offers three custom-designed wallpaper images from renowned graphic artist Anthony Burrill. The common theme of the background images is "inspired by nature and people coming together to help the planet," says the company. The wallpapers are available to anyone. Apple CEO Tim Cook recently showcased a video detailing a new robot, named Liam, that disassembles old iPhones to separate components for recovery and recycling.

I'm not sure what the Mac angle is here. Wouldn't recycled wallpapers be of interest mainly to Windows users?

Now if they offered Desktop Pictures, we might get excited. Though probably not too much.
