I never really thought she was a "10", but not at all bad.
Cancer sucks.

That sucks.
My mom had a Farrah LP. I liked her hair.
I suppose Patrick Swayze is next?

Unfortunately for Farrah, the only lasting impression she gave me was from the roast of shatner where she was a complete ninny.

Yeah, she wasn't known for her scholarly wisdoms.
RIP Farrah

Farrah was a great "sexy girl next door," and like others, I had a crush on her when I was a kid. At one point she was "everybody's favorite Angel," and could get any part she wanted. Not bad for a Tri Delt, eh? (Yeah, she was, and at UT Austin at that.)
Yes, cancer sucks. Like Chongo, I'm going to remember Farrah as the really cute girl in the poster I had as a teen.

I've had my nose rubbed in the fact that the press is simply gushing about Michael Jackson's life and controversies, and have effectively ignored Farrah's life since Michael was "rushed to the hospital." This is indeed what I see happening.
Well, without suggesting that I'm minimizing anything about MJ, let's talk about Farrah's life and her works. The first film I saw her in was "Logan's Run," and while the film disappointed me on a number of levels (I'd read the book), I thought she was great in the part. And while a short skirt didn't hurt my appreciation of her acting, she seemed to grasp the character better than Michael York did.
In "Saturn 3," she was exceptional. Sure, she was cast as fluff, but she performed like a trooper. Her character, Alex, was very believable and interesting.
Let's skip to "The Burning Bed." Wow. Just WOW.
I saw her as an actress that overcame her type casting to become a strong performer, and that's the way I'll remember "Farrah the actress." Along with the poster, of course, because she really did use the cheesecake to get a foot into the door. But from there, she really went far.

that made for tv movie was based on a true story that took place a few miles from where i grew up. good movie.
as for MJ; since that was all of a sudden/shocker, i can see why Farrah sorta got over looked/dropped from the lead. the public has been "dealing" with what we knew were her last days for a few months now.

Farrah arrived at the pearly gates and St. Peter said he would grant her one wish. She said, "I wish to protect small children" and then poof, Michael jackson appeared.
