I was using iCal just now and was trying to set some alarms when I realized that having the computer send an SMS to my cell phone would be an AWESOME alarm!!! Cell phone is always in my pocket and if something comes up, it can sms me even if I'm in the kitchen etc and I'd know!! Just so people know and if you think this is a good idea, let apple know!

iCal Suggestion link

I just sent them one suggestion!!

I've been doing something similar as a workaround. I entered my cell phone's e-mail address in my card in Address Book, and just have iCal e-mail's reminder set for my phone's address.

I think I will try the same thing. However, I have noticed that sometimes the email takes twenty or thirty minutes to reach my phone, and other times it's within a minute. Odd.

To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation.
