Hey I was just wondering if the P29 has the auto-sensing ethernet jack like the tiBook. I need to get to my Lombard from the new iBook and I cant find any crossover cables around here. Thanks!

Not sure if it does, but someone did say it was....

I tried this to connect to my iMac and it didnt work so either its not auto-sensing or I did something wrong. (probabbly the latter)

Check out the technical specifications for the iBook (dual USB) at:
http://til.info.apple.com/techinfo.nsf/artnum/n88120

To answer your question I believe it is autosensing (Built-in 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet)

Yes it is.

From the developer note:
When connecting two computers using Ethernet, a crossover cable is not required; circuits in the PHY detect the type of connection and switch the signal configuration as required.
