i dont have a hi-fi thats why im asking all of those who owns one if they are satisfied with their hi-fi...cause from consumer report they where NOT SATISFIED with their Hi-fi comparing it with other boombox makers....

Apple's new Hi-Fi, cost $349, doesn't sound as good as some older competitors. And it weighs much more, a drawback if you want to use the Hi-Fi portably. I mean common apple is not really a boombox maker...i would rather go for a Denon....

DCApple does nothing but post links to his own blog, to generate hits.

That is blatant electronic advertising, also known as "spam".

Ah, I see the light and understand now...

I was so lost because I couldn't even fathom that someone would be so desperate.
What is the big deal with signatures anyway?

Apple's iPod Hi-Fi has received high marks from a Stereophile senior contributing editor, who says the device produces "glorious sound."

Shame he doesn't actually compare it to anything.

Well here is something to compare to Hi-fi and its really much better!!! Although the looks is not as good as hi-fi but the features are great!!!

The package includes:

* Ipod dock
* Built in CD player
* FM radio
* Audio inputs
* Color-coordinated remote

I'm curious in seeing the Altec Lansing InMotion IM-9.

Altec Lansing is marketing it as the "SUV" of iPod speakers.

http://playlistmag.com/news/2006/03/...php?lsrc=mwrss
http://www.alteclansing.com/product_details.asp?pID=IM9

But look at the specs:

iPod Hi-Fi
---------
17" x 6.6" x 6.9"
14.5 pounds

InMotion IM9
------------
11" x 3" x 7.8"
4 pounds

The IM9 looks more portable but it's too bad that it doesn't have a remote control. I'll probably look at this again if the second revision finally includes a remote....
