Where'd you get that from?

As a point of reference: say what you will about Bush 43, he was hardly ineffectual.

You had mentioned that you align more closely with McCain and gave some examples. You're not sure about him following through on that which you align, saying instead it is generally the diligent work of the adherents that follow through. You closed with;

That's definitely not what I'm saying. Let me give this another shot.

1) Adherents to my philosophy must be responsible, those that aren't are bad.
2) Prosecutors must be responsible, those that aren't are bad.
3) McCain claims to adhere to my philosophy.
4) I claim he likely isn't responsible enough.

Therefore...

I'm claiming McCain is likely bad, similar to a bad prosecutor.

No other adherents are meant to be directly mentioned or impugned, though I have indirectly discussed all adherents to my philosophy in my premise, which likely helped to confuse things.

What I'm saying here is that even though the result of an Obama presidency will be suck, it won't be as much suck as an irresponsible McCain presidency, and the intensity of suckage isn't correlated with Obama's responsibility (or lack thereof) the way it is with McCain.

Today, Ken Duberstein, former chief of staff for Ronald Reagan, threw in his support for Obama. If you watch the interview on MSNBC, one of his reasons is Palin.

Had I been privy to the information we have now, I would have phrased this much differently, so, for what little it's worth, I'd like to apologize to Senator McCain.
