Images of what is reported to be the Huawei Ascend G700 have appeared online, along with a small hint at its internals. The Android-based device bears a resemblance to the
Ascend G615 in terms of looks, and based on another Twitter posting the infamous
@evleaks account linked to, may also have relatively similar internal specifications.
The linked tweet from @paopao0128
claims it will have a MediaTek MT6589 system-on-chip, similar to the G615, run on Android Jelly Bean version 4.2, and have a display with a HD resolution. It will also be available in two models: W-CDMA and GSM, and TD-SCDMA and GSM.
Further details picked up
by Engadget from a Sina Weibo
post suggests it will have a five-inch display and 2GB of RAM. It is likely to cost around $320 when it is released in China, though an expected release date is also unknown.
