My 533 dp has just recently begun having USB conniptions. It 'forgets' that it has a keyboard attached (standard apple usb k/b, that came with the mac). If I unplug the keyboard from the CPU and plug it back in, it works fine. This was unheard of until last week, and it has rapidly increased to the point of irritation.

Has anyone else seen this, or could anyone guess what the problem is - is it likely to be the CPU or the keyboard? (I don't have any other USB peripherals to check with, I live a simple life)

PS - is this a 'G4' question, or a 'peripheral' question?

PPS - how do _you_ spell vaguaries?

"... in 6 months if WMD are found, I hope all clear-thinking people who opposed the war will say "You're right, we were wrong -- good job". Similarly, if after 6 months no WMD are found, people who supported the war should say the same thing -- and move to impeach Mr. Bush." - moki, 04/16/03
