I was intrigued to come across this republican sentiment in the sig of someone in this forum, presumably someone that supports the need for a global war on terrorism.
It constantly amazes me that although one man's terrorism is another man's freedom fighting, those involved seem incapable of recognising the fact.

"... in 6 months if WMD are found, I hope all clear-thinking people who opposed the war will say "You're right, we were wrong -- good job". Similarly, if after 6 months no WMD are found, people who supported the war should say the same thing -- and move to impeach Mr. Bush." - moki, 04/16/03

Does a little Gaelic scare ya? j/k
Maybe the person is just Irish? "Our day will come", is just a phrase, and could be broadly interpreted. I'm sure the IRA aren't the only ones who use it... besides, from what I've heard the IRA are just about completely disbanded now, or at most a very pale shadow of what they used to be.
