I tried to start back running FAH, but I soon noticed that my config file was corrupting and all of my credits were going to anonymous. These are windoze computers and the client is running as a service, any idea how that could happen and how to stop it?

Have you got the latest client?

I set up the Windows client on my XP machine at home and the Vista machine at work at work a couple of days ago, they seem to be working fine.

Are you running any odd software that may interfere with the config files?

Edit: Also, it's best to open them in wordpad because then the lines are formatted properly.

I have the latest client. They had been running fine for several days, maybe a week with no problem. Then I noticed that points had stopped counting and when I looked at the FAHMon I had running, it showed no username or team name. I did use wordpad to open the config files.
