I need a large format flatbed scanner, I would like to size to be around 12 x 18. So far the best one I have found is the EPSON Expression10000 XLGA (Newegg.com - EPSON Expression10000 XLGA E10000XL-GA 2400 dpi 48bit USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 (FireWire) Interface Flatbed Scanner - Scanner - Flatbed Scanners)

But I would like to see if there were any other good scanners I should be looking at with in my budget ( Under $3000)

Thanks for the help

I have a Microtek 9800XL scanner [takes A3] and am still delighted with it after around 5 years usage! Don't know what the price of them is nowadays but maybe it's within your budget.
