My home directory recently got corrupted so I swapped all my important data to another account to use instead. All that is really left to do is to move my iTunes playlists over. I can't figure out how to do it, anyone know if I can?

I'd also like to set a password to log back in after the computer goes to sleep, I had this on my old account and can't seem to get it to do this now (yes I do have a password on my account).

Thanks,
-Elijah.

if you move over the iTunes Library and iTunes Music Library.xml files in your ~/Music/iTunes folder you'll keep your playlists, MAYBE

go to system preferences, security, and check "require password to wake this computer from sleep or screensaver"

Unfortunately that didn't work for me. Is there anything else I can try? (though the password on screen saver did work).

Thanks.

Click the play list.
Select File/Export.
I usually save it as an XML file.

Reverse process on other machine (import)

(I believe that's it...)
