I just checked the US Apple Store and the prices listed on the front
page aren't the same as the prices on the second page.

Homepage prices:
1.6GHz - $1799
Dual 1.8GHz - $2499
Dual 2GHz - $2999

Apple Store prices (all from $x):
1.6GHz - $1599
Dual 1.8GHz - $2299
Dual 2GHz - $2699

Anyone see anything else out of the ordinary?

Yup... just saw it and grabbed the image.

Must be a mix up.

The cheap prices seem to be the educational prices.

Yeah, I think the banner from the edu site is getting swapped in. Great prices nonetheless though.

I think they will drop the prices. The sales will soar if they do, rather than steadily declining as has happened with all previous Powermac revs during their product cycle.

EDIT: they seems to have swapped the old image back.. for now
