I usually ignore a lot of software updates, but as I wanted to restart my computer anyway, I thought I'd actually do some. So, I set it to install a whole bunch (16, actually) of items and then let it go. All seemed fine, and it looked like it would take a while, so I went upstairs.

Went down a while later and it appears as though it's just stuck on the pages installer script (for the Pages application, I should make clear).

Now -- it looks pretty stuck to me. What to do? I've got to take a kid somewhere, so I'll let it go awhile, but then after that, what will happen if/when I do the hard restart? I have no idea what got installed, if anything.

and yes, there should be a time machine backup from right before I started this idiocy.
