Has anyone seen mars through a telescope?
I saw it througha pair of binoculars, not a lot to see though, its definately red.
any aliens welcome to post here....

It might be a bargain if you are seeing it up close
like that mars you were looking at with a telescope,
but it might be further away than you think and
therefore a bite-size bar and quite expensive.

Yes, a couple of weeks ago when it was at its closest. Scope wasn't calibrated properly so the view wasn't as good as it could be, yet still most impressive.
What was also really cool was a couple of days later I was in a Surrey village and at night I could see the Milky Way up there. Boy, I haven't seen that in a while. The skies in London are never fully dark, and even in Surrey the Milky Way wasn't as clear as it could be. But still wow, I'd forgotten how impressive it looks in the night sky.
