I just picked up a Targus usb cable to sync my Palm Vx with my iMac OS 9 but I can't seem to make it work. Does anyone have a suggestion or experience? I used the search function and found one post on this, but it didn't seem to help
Thanks!

i have the same situation. looks like we're out of the loop once again - package as well as targus website says it's only compatible with a pc.

if you manage to find a way around this, please post it.

good luck.

I actually got it working this evening! I played around with the settings in the Hot Sync manager. Use the search for targus usb and there was a post on this describing a driver for some other connector. Do what the post says to do. Then this is where I got confused, I couldn't find the selection Modem Port USB. If you click on just Modem Port, the computer seems to chug, and then it creates another option, Modem Port USB. Select it and away you go! It works great, just don't turn off the Serial Monitor, that seems to screw it up. Anyways, try it out, it seems to work, at least for this evening

I got it to work 1 time, then I went ahead and returned it because 1/10 just doesn't cut it for me.

that was last year, i got a pocket PC just a few days ago and now i'm really gonna have some connection problems
