They're going to be (hopefully) a system replacement set. I have no clue when I'm going to release them, as I just started work on them this moring. Suggestions, Comments, or photoshop & illustator (I'm using sodipodi and gimp right now) would be welcomed.

I like them! People are definitely going to ask for color variants however. Are you planning some?

very nice. I'd definitely use them if there is a blue or white variant. Keep working on them.

Alright! Looks like you're off to a good start, and single-color system replacements are something I love that are fairly lacking on OS X it seems...so far I've only found 'X'tra Orange that I can think of.

Good luck with this one.

ok, I'll do a grape.

(note, there will not be any 'bannanas' 'oranges' 'coconutes' or any other flavors. I can't make a hundered different variations. )

lol, what happened to not pestering?

I'll make an orange once I finish with the other flavors i'm making. So far, I've gotten 3 icons (and a snowman) done. Give me time! (and help me with my splinter cell addiction!)

I was just kidding about the orange one. I'd probably use the blue one.

Frisbee : that's some pretty nefty recolouring.

9th grade next year, eh?

Since Frisbee just re-hued your cherry icon, couldn't you re-hue all of them to get all kinds of colors? Shouldn't be that hard.

Actualy, I just used gimp for the preview images. The actual icons are made in sodipodi. I spend about 20-10 minutes making the icon, and then about 1 making 'lime' 'blueberry' 'plum' flavors. I suppose I could make more colours, I'm just going to have one heck of a .svg file when I'm done.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk. It's an easy mistake (plumb is a word, too), and I figure you'd want to use the right one.

I know you weren't being a jerk. If I thought you had, I wouldn't have replyed the way I did. It takes a while to get used to my sense of humor.

my only suggestion would be a white or black variant. but you can finish the color ones first.

definitely, it is spelled.

I agree with you about bright colors, but a white "coconut" needs to be added.
Lookin' good, though.

Instead of just putting up a preview of coconut, I'll put up a download of some coconut icons instead.

Yes indeed, there are more of us.
The folders are looking good Keifer. I'm personally interested in how you're going to handle badged folders for the Apps folder, etc. My one recommendation would be to make them a different (if possible, complimentary ) color than the folder itself for contrast.

<rant class="spelling">
Also, why not (if you have an OS X laptop, you didn't mention it, however I'll assume for now) turn on the built-in Cocoa spell checking? I use it all the time, mainly because I believe in good grammar and such. I'd be completely lost without it.
