Hey there,
I haven't been able to click on any links on ESPN.com's front page for about 4 days now using Safari 1.0.3 on OS X 10.2.8. Anyone else seeing this? Every other website is fine.
Thanks,
BD

No. But ESPN has always been pretty buggy on Safari for me.

Working fine here. On the other hand though, ESPN is kind of a mess, and the flash ads crash Safari for me occasionally.

Are you using PithHelmet with Safari?

Actually, it's just your basic old install of Safari. I've quit Safari several times during the past week... but I'll shut everything down and do a System Restart to see if that does anything.
All other websites are good, so it never occurred to me to Restart my B&W G3. BRB,

Nope... Shutdown and Restart didn't do anything.
I can't say it's Safari 1.0.3 (v85.8) in particular since this only started to happen 4-5 days ago. Perhaps ESPN.com changed something that affects Safari 1.0.3 (v85.8) users with OS X 10.2.8 on G3's. Who knows, at least good old IE still works.
Thanks,
BD

Does emptying the cache and getting rid of all ESPN cookies help at all?

Rickey's friend would like to thank Rickey for his suggestion. Unfortunately, Rickey's friend was unable to resolve said problem with the above advice.
Perhaps it's just something in Rickey's friend's Safari application which Mac Geniuses refer to as being "hosed." Ah well, Rickey's friend is moving up to Panther next week anyway.
See ya,

I don't think it's Safari. It's not working for me either with OmniWeb 5 (which is similar to Safari 1.0.2, I believe). It might be something on ESPN's side.

Well,
ESPN.com changed something back and now Safari works again.

No idea what they did; changed CSS, HTML, etc. All I can say is that (for now) the links are clickable.
Whee,
