Its the 3GSM mobile phone show at Cannes, so here are a load of phones that have been shown today.
Nokia 6680 (3g phone with video calling camera), 6682 (2g phone) and 6101 (clamshell)
Sony Ericsson Z800 (non Vodafone V800 3g phone)
Sony Ericsson K600 (3g 1.3MP cameraphone)
Motorola RAZR V3 (black version)
Motorola SLVR V8 (candybar RAZR)
Motorola PEBL V6 (clamshell)
Motorola E1120 (3g 3MP cameraphone)
Motorola E1060 (may be the iTunes phone)
Motorola A1010 (3g PDA phone)
LG SV360 (3d graphics gamepad phone, looks like Gran Turismo on the screen to me!)
Other stuff like Sendo X2 and Samsung Series 60 based phones also announced.
Some impressive stuff been announced, and some bad stuff from a Mac users point of view, like Nokia jumping into bed with MS to put Windows Media compatibility on Nokia handsets, and Microsoft making their own reference design phone for Windows based phones (below), so any old phone manufacturer or carrier can have a version of the phone.

2. Motorola
3. LG
The rest look like pure crap. Poorly designed and ugly.

The Sony Ericsson K600 looks good to me.
Looks like the iPod mini, with its rounded edges...

Will any of these work with T-Mobile? How does one even find out what phones you can get for the service you have?

Maybe it is because MS encourages everyone to jump to bed with them. Apple doesn't do this.
Maybe Apple should be as promiscous.

Me too - well, more like "okay" than really "good". Still not as good as the K700i, which I just bought one of a week ago
And the others all look quite horrible to me.

I liked the SE K600 and the Samsung; all the others are pure crap.
edit: What is M$'s facination with sticking the start button on everything that runs their software. I fscking hate that stupid 'start' button.

Mindfad, these are all brand new phones, it will probably be a while before the carriers announce that they'll be carrying them on their network. Have patience, some of these are even being shown now for release in Q3 and Q4 this year!
It makes a change for Nokia to make something that looks sensible with a usable keypad these days, so congrats to them on that. Having said that, their 6xxx series phones are usually pretty subdued, style wise.

More stuff on engadget, Sony Ericsson have announced they will release a line of Walkman phones (not shown yet) that will have large memory, quality headphones and use Sony's Connect music service.
I was all for it until they said 'Connect music service'

Theoretically Apple could provide a downloadable Java version of iTunes for all phones without being partnered to any company. It could integrate a mini iTunes Music Store interface and use any phone's 3G or internet connection.

I remember my first cell phone. Used it for like 4 years. I can't get one to last more than eleven months anymore.
