I need a good Firewire400 and USB2 3.5" HD enclosure and it needs to be under 50$ Hope this is possible, thanks, indigo

try some searches here, I know that I have posted in a few of these threads in the past. Alternatively, you can just go to newegg.com and search there. I have 2 enclosures that I bought there and both work well. Consider your needs before purchasing as this will help you choose aluminum vs. plastic and fan vs. fanless and stuff like that.

I've got 6 of these BYTECC enclosures, only mine are all firewire 400 only. Never a problem.

These Guys seem to always have a good selection of enclosures at good prices. I'm personally fond of the Triumph enclosures. Here's a nice aluminum combo enclosure for $39

Make sure that the enclosure you select is bootable, if that is important to you. Some IOGEAR enclosures that are currently available cannot be booted, no matter what OS you use.
