Even though it's turned off in iPhoto it still does it in Front Row and it's driving me nuts! Any help appreciated...

I found it today, thought I should share:

You will need to edit the com.apple.iphoto.plist file, this is located in your (user specific) library/preferences folder.

Look for the setting: SlideShowAutoPanAndZoom which defaults to "YES". Set it to "NO".

For what it's worth, I also chose to set EnableBackgroundMusic to "NO".

This worked for me, hope it helps you as well. And as always, make backups before modifying system files, your mileage may vary, etc...

Should I just use TextWrangler to edit it?

I used PlistEdit Pro, but I deliberately didn't recommend a particular tool for making the edit. The bottom line is changing the text strings from "YES" to "NO".

I used Property List Editor in the end, did it to 2 Macs with great success - thanks!
