I'm just trying the demo of Bento and it seems to do what I want it to, i.e. I'm freelance and want to log hours worked on certain jobs, then collate a total at the end of the month to prepare an invoice, broken down by job.

However, I'd like to be able to have Bento installed at work and at home, keeping the database file on a USB stick. But, it stores the database in the same way as iWeb, in the Application Support folder. If I move it to the desktop to simulate storing it elsewhere, when I double click the moved file, Bento just creates a new database file from scratch. Is the only solution to copy it from the stick to the 'correct' location each time? Why can't it just have documents like most other apps??

Any help appreciated.
