I know,
It's almost laughable, but I'm wondering what one of these oldies but goodies (in great shape) could pull in:
PowerBook 1400c/166
40MB RAM
OS 8.1
56K Global Village modem
Thanks for any info!

Sold one on eBay a year ago for $25. Check the completed listings to see what they're going for now.
Edit: It was a 5300CS, not 1400...sorry. Looks like your 1400c might fetch $40-60.

Heh heh,
Can this thing run OS X with some kind of upgrade? Maybe I can have it be a big, fancy paperweight that plays some sort of Screen Saver. But then again, it would probably... run... real... slow...

With and without upgrades. There was a G3 upgrade available for it, tho I doubt anyone has any in stock. You can also load Linux on it, compile PearPC and run OS X over that. It would be VERY slow.
