...hack a game, so it doesn't resize my resolution?

star wars galactic battlegrounds, runs full screen. it has the option of screen resolutions to play in, but no matter what, it resizes the resolution for the intro movie and menu screen. this is annoying, because it moves all my widgets and files around, on my desktop.

so, is their a way to make so when it loads, it doesn't change the resolution?

since the intro movies are all set to a specific size, what if i was to edit them, so they would be my screen resolution? would that make, so when the game first launches, it wouldn't mess with my resolution? after they play, the menu screen would come up, which does change the resolution...though fixing the intro movies would be a start.
