Hey there,
Does anyone know of a review anywhere between these two eBay listing applications:
iSale and GarageSale
I'm not sure which one to pick. Thanks,
BD

Sorry, not familiar with either. You could take both for test rides and decide which one you personally prefer?

I used iSale once to post an auction but they didn't support Canadian shipping policies so the posted shipping code ended up being free in the posting (no good!).
I emailed them about this bug and they said they're think about fixing it in the future. I was all ready to buy the app until I received that useless response from their tech support. I was more miffed about the response than the lack of the feature. Obviously this wouldn't affect you being in the US.
Haven't tried GarageSale but it doesn't look as nice as iSale did.

I tried both. iSale seemed to have a better UI. However I went with GarageSale because of their price and they seem to be actively developing. I like it so far.

Both are pretty actively developed. I've messed around with both demos, but haven't really used either enough to make a definitive decision regarding them. Garagesale I've found allows you to remove their logo in your auctions which I appreciate. iSale doesn't. The iSale UI is quite nice, and I prefer it to Garagesale's.

Garagesale is better, cheaper, and more frequently upgraded. No contest IMO.
But both programs have free trials, so why not try both.

True enough... looks like trying both will be the key for me.
Thanks,

How do you remove the logo?

Well, iSale 5 has just come out as well as GarageSale 4, so does anyone have a comparison? I personaly own iSale 4 and have been using it for about 6 months now. I've been happy with how fast I can put up auctions, but it definitely needs some improvements. I wish there was a forum where we could make suggestions and post bugs. I've emailed them, but I don't get a response.

I found two reviews, both of the older versions of the two programs:
GarageSale 3.2:
Macworld | GarageSale 3.2
iSale 4.1:
Macworld | iSale 4.1
Hopefully Macworld will update these reviews and put the two programs head to head? Does anyone know of any other programs that are trying to emerge as competitors in the Mac eBay program sector?

I checked out the GarageSale booth at Macworld and grabbed a demo disc. It's pretty nice and I eventually paid it.

Has anyone done a more recent review? Some of the complaints I am reading about in earlier versions seem to be fixed in V5 of Garage Sale, and a lot of people mentioned they purchased on price, which isn't a factor given the difference, or they didn't like the one computer deal, which isn't a problem for me either. Judging by looks alone, iSale seems to be the nicer of the two to use, but then again Garage Sale doesn't have a lot of screenshots.
I don't list stuff much, but am going to start supplementing my lure site sales on eBay, and want to make the best choice, naturally

If that was supposed to be humorous, then you failed.
