I've tried everything to clean the ball and the piece of junk still won't scroll down. If I go into my local store will they replace it on the spot or will I have to wait for a repair? Anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

I took one to the Apple Store in Indianapolis with similar problems and they replaced it on the spot. They didn't even test it, just got a new one. Good luck.

Did you have to prove to them that there was a problem, 'cause mine screws up intermittently.

No, I just told them the problem. I bet it depends who you talk to -- I'm sure there are some employees that would want to test it and others who will just give you a new one.

I hate my wireless mighty mouse. I dont have the dirt problem, but after you hold a good conventional mouse that fits your palm perfectly you realize how uncomfortable the mighty mouse is.

^True, even if I use a M$ mouse from 1994, I get more comfort on that than the mighty mouse.
