The original PC, the iconic Think Pad, Big Blue, the CPUs inside our home video game consoles, Paul Rand's IBM 8 bar and Rebus logos… There is a bunch of reasons to celebrate that eye-bee-M turns 100 years old. Feel free to add yours.

Not that I condone their dealings with the Nazis, but they're far from unique.

IBM had a German subsidiary that supplied punch card equipment to the German government between 1933 and 1945. It has been alleged in various books and at least one lawsuit that the Nazis used this equipment to in the Holocaust. The question is how much IBM in the US knew of this. The answer is possibly nothing, but there is some discussion over this every now and then.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
