For some reason certain websites won't load on my Mac (only this computer - other PCs and Macs in the house and at work load the website with no problems). However, I can access them on the MacBook by using VMware Fusion running Windows XP in bridged networking mode (it doesn't work using the network in NAT mode).
I've tried a couple of things so far: I switched to using OpenDNS and clearing the DNS cache, and made sure I was using the latest versions of Camino and Safari.
I'm using a MacBook connected to the internet by AirPort to my router, and running 10.4.11.
The websites I can't access are
DVD Crave - DVD, HD-DVD, Blu-ray, PS3, PS2, PSP, XBOX, XBOX 360, Nintendo, Gamecube, DS, Wii, PAL, Best Price, Australia and
DropShots - Free Video Hosting & Online Photo Sharing. Upload Video Now!. dvdcrave.com used to work, but hasn't for the last few weeks. I never tried dropshots.com before but in my searches for a resolution to this I found someone else with the same problem as this but with dropshots.com.
Anyone got any suggestions for trying to fix it?
I posted it here rather than in the applications forum because xp in vmware can't load them when using NAT networking mode, so I guess it's an OS level thing.
