It's getting dingy, that disturbing yellowish color around the track pad, keys, and screen. What's the best solution to get it off?

Take the battery out and throw it in the dishwasher, Pots and Pans or Heavy Duty, with extra soap. After the high-heat dry cycle it will be spotlessly clean!

It will also have the advantage of staying perfectly clean because you won't put your dirty hands on it ever again...

the man is askin for help, and u guys are tottaly avoiding the subject. From what i've heard so far, its not fully possible to clean the yellowing macbook. The only way is to get the plastic replaced. I've heard tht Apple has been workin on new plastic that dont stain as much.

If you own a white one: The track pad will get dirty fro/m using it a lot, same with the keys. Use eyeglass cleaner but NOT ON THE SCREEN! This happened when I was using a iBook G4...
