Have you guys seen the pictures of the new Apple keyboard ? http://forums.appleinsider.com/showthread.php?t=77160

It's surprisingly thin, which is very cool, although im not so sure about the iMac-white on Aluminium color scheme. just looks liek a clash of the consumer and pro products.

I'm still surprised that Apple hasnt encorporated a power button on the keyboard....something i really miss.

Cheers

The iMac to go with that would look so cool.

5mm thick sheet of aluminum, and from the rear it would look just like the underside of the keyboard - metal frame of sheet aluminum around the outside edge, with the entire computer housed in a white "bubble", only broken up for a boxy extrusion to one side to house the optical drive.

Mmmm.

Stick the bottom half of a MacBook onto the back of an aluminum screen bezel.

(The only problem is a 3.5" hard drive.)

Not so sure if I'd want to type more than a page on that keyboard.

That wouldn't affect the form factor.

The MacBook keyboards are quite splendid; and that thing looks like it's the same mechanism.

Same thoughts... if the imac uses the combination of al/white, i have my doubts in terms of design... but then, this is apple we're talking about, i very much doubt it'll be anything other than hot.

The F3 key looks like Expose. What is that symbol on F4?

Yuck!!! I hate chicklet keyboards. I hated them back on the Radio Shack Color computer, and I still hate them.

I think it might be spaces on F3 as Expose should use 3 buttons which might be the new ones on the far right.

F4 is dashboard.

Uh, that's not a chicklet keyboard... Haven't you tried out a MacBook? I was extremely skeptical about them at first, but really they're quite nice to type on.

I think that this iMac will be very cool. When have the iMacs never been cool though? I love the G3 and G4, got a G5, and will probably love the next design.
