whenever I open Safari, little snitch tell me that PubSubAgent wants to connect to new.google.com on port 443

whats this about? Ive become less and less interested in googles machinations

PubSubAgent is the software that synchronizes read/unread marks for RSS feeds. Probably it's trying to retrieve feeds from news.google.com.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
