I am a former Mac user (and will be returning to the fold with my next computer purchase) and had some important files from the late 1990s stored on a Mac formatted floppy in Wordperfect (.wpd3 files, I believe). I was able to access the files on my PC using MacDisk but when I open them I cannot convert them to MS Word - actually, any conversion (e.g. to Notepad, etc.) yielding most/all the information in the files would be fine. Does anyone know a way of doing this? Alternatively, can one simply get on a current Mac and open them into something that could be saved in a usable format? Any advice would be appreciated.
