Hey, how do you like that s530? I'm planning on getting one, but still hesitating. Would you recommend it?
And is that a silver/white mouse O.o ???

Do you mean 333 MHz? Instead of upgrading the drive and ram I would invest in a refurb, cause that can't be fun using OSX on that setup.

Yes, I meant 233MHz, I bought it used. The box said 333Mhz but the computer was 233. I also think I may get rid of my iMac for a PowerMac G4 ~450MHz.

Yea, your setup is great! I need the new power adaptor for my PB, for some reason Apple canceled my order and didn't tell me. I wish I had an iMac DV (TIGER!), I could overclock mine to 366MHz or 400MHz (which I think I will do.)

That model of tangerine iMac should either be 266 MHz or 333 MHz. Don't know what happened...but nice pictures everyone!

I know what it should be, but I think the last owner had it "fixed" and they put a Bondi Rev A LB in it.

No it's standard, and when I say standard I mean a lot of the cream coloured paint has bubbled up, which is why it's closed in the photo! Still a great Mac though.

Don't worry after a little gaming, ive booted back into Tiger, my native home. I think i need a stick of ram though because im getting some serious lagging in games. Good thing it's under a hundred bucks for 1gb.

Well I`m off to pick up my 20" iMac from apple. Not sure what to think of it since I had nothing but troubles with the MBP and now since I`m stuck with over $3000 worth of store credit I`m going to pick up an iMac with 1GB Ram and 256VRAM. I`m also getting and iPod nano with the dock and AirPort Express Base Station with AirTunes.
Once I have everything set up I`ll post my workstation setup. By the way I love all of the setups you guys have.

Normally I'd agree, but I've found with my creature speakers I actually prefer to have it higher up.

As a main stereo to fill a room, disappointing. On my Mac desktop, awesome!

Dude, clean up your desk.
Kidding .
Great equipment, but it's too much on one desk. put the sub on the floor and get a wallhanger for the Sennheiser, and you should be fine.

They're not bad, definately a step up from the built in speakers. I just use them for some casual gaming and iTunes when I'm on the computer, and I'm fairly happy with them. I think if I did more with video or was more serious about gaming I'd probably just spend a bit of extra money and get a higher end system though.

That's how I browse... I consider not using full screen a waste of screen real estate, why waste space on displaying my desktop background when I could fit extra MacNN posts on my screen?

if youre only web browsing and not using any other apps...why not use the browser at full screen? doesnt bother me, unless people use 5 different apps at once and complain how long it takes to get from one app to another.
