Pink's Hot Dogs in TWO National Commercials?
Yep! A Direct TV commercial featuring Jeremy Piven and another Entourage character and a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury spot.
Woo hoo!
I LOVE Pink's! Best chili dogs EVER!

Never had a Pink's. I do like Pat's, though.

I just some how assumed this thread was in refernce to singer Pink being a hermaphrodite.
Well isn't my mind in the gutter.

You 'da man!
And a lucky man, at that!
I've had cheesesteaks at THE PHILADELPHIA CHEESESTEAK COMPANY and Hot Dogs at Pinks and consider myself fortunate!
THE PHILADELPHIA CHEESESTEAK COMPANY
Divisadero Street at Pine, San Francisco, CA
The BEST Philly cheesesteaks I ever had outside of Philly was found all of the way on the left coast i n San Francisco. When I lived out there a few years ago, I would catch the Eagles game at Pat O'Shea's (a sports bar), then head over to the Phialdelphia Cheesesteak Company for a taste of home. The walls are decorated pictures/posters with Philly sports figures and media types, clippings from the Inky, and framed pictures of famous Philly cheesesteak places (such as Delassandro's!). Anyway, this palce does it right. they import Amoroso rolls from the Philly area (everyone KNOWS that the key to a good cheesesteak/hoagie is teh right roll!). One drawback, though: they're kinda pricey. I think it was close to eight bucks for like an average sized sammich. Yet another bonus: they *also* sell Tastycakes!!! I forget what the address of this place is, but just check out the phonebook when you're in SanFran it's right in the city.

These are the real thing. I just moved out here not knowing the hell El Nino would bring and The Cheesesteak Shop reminds me of home where it is 20 degrees warmer than here in February. I had said that the steaks can't be as good because they weren't made with Amoroso rolls, but they fly them in daily! Sweet and hot peppers, hoagie spread (I still can't find a good Italian hoagie!), Tastykakes, the BEST.

Where is Pat's?
Have you (or anyone else here) tried any of the food from Carney's? It's that railroad car on the Sunset Strip near the Laugh Factory?
They were pretty good, too!
