my ibook just died for good. to salvage the drive and throw it in my pismo, i parted out the entire computer.

i have the following parts-

dc board.
ac adapter (brand new at that)
screen/bezel
combo drive
keyboard
batter that holds about an hour of charge (might be good in a pinch, don't really know)
12gb drive from the pismo
heatsink
fan
modem
i/o bezel
oh, i guess i have an airport card too- but this one will be $95

pretty much everything that isn't the logic board. the top case is in poor but working condition. there are a couple cracks in the corners of this piece.

i really don't know what any of this is worth and i've pretty much left this thing for dead, so if it seems reasonable, i'll bite.

email is preferable to pm as i'm in and out, so please feel free to email me at djh52 at (the name of the university in my location) .edu

thanks, i hope we can work something out as i could really use the money.

no reasonable offer will be refused. i'll be checking parts prices on pbfixit, and certainly undercutting them.

thanks again.

update-

i now have two airport cards, both at $95 + shipping.

and the AC adapter is gone.

the battery which holds about an hour of charge i'll let go for $10+ shipping. might be a good $15 insurance plan for a traveller out there. don't know.

would you be interested in parting with the O (o, not zero) from your keyboard?

my friend's O key is broken.

possibly, but you're at the bottom of the totem pole on this one. i'd like to sell the whole thing and get more money in one unit than to part out individual keys.

I may be interested in the keyboard. How much are you looking at for it? I've left a couple of PMs, but have not heard back from you yet. I may be interested if you still have it.

Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)

okay, airport cards and ac adapter are sold.

i'm willing to think about offers for the rest of this stuff, but i'll tell you right now- i won't take less than $175 for it all. i can wait now, the money situation is a little better.

i still have all of this other than the keyboard. i also came across an airport card.

the screen has one dead pixel, but it would be where the dock is (bottom of screen) so it's really pretty minor.
