I would like to know if someone has already tried the UB version of Motion or Final Cut pro on a Mac Book Pro and how it went ...

Thanks for asking this, Skypat. In the interest of keeping this thread relevant, I'll repeat your request for this info.

I and many of my peers are very curious about the performance of FCPStudio 5.1 on the MBPs. Surely would appreciate anyone who has experienced FCP on a recent Powerbook generation describing the performance differences on a MBP.
