I want to get a handful of extra cables so it’s easy to charge my iPhone/iPad in various home/work/car locations without wondering where the dang cable is. Apple’s $19 apiece seems a bit ridiculous. But if I pick some off brand at random on Amazon, chances are many of the reviews will say “stopped working after a month”. I was going to try my luck on monoprice, but they apparently stopped carrying any (I guess for fear of Apple’s stupid patent protectionism on the connector). Anybody know of reasonable iPod cables in the $1–5 range?
