so i currently have a belkin 802.11b router. i have an imac G5 and a macbook core duo. both of which have 802.11g.

lately my belkin routher is crashing when i stream itunes or transfer large files. my imac is downstairs and my macbook upstairs.

i'm wondering if i invest in a 802.11g router, will it help tremendously or even a little. mainly i'd like to be able to listen to my itunes collection streaming from my imac to my macbook.

i was looking at the belkin g router, but i am open to other suggestions as well.

any advice?
as ever,
sonny

Yes, going with g should open up a lot (relative to b) of bandwidth. Look at Linksys. They've always performed very well for me, and the html-based configuration is great.
