PTH - has made a comeback with:
Macworld 2004 best of show menu utility.
- You Control
http://www.yousoftware.com/products/control.php

Any of you tried it - Is it worth $50 ?

Haven't tried it, but I have too many menu items as is, I can't imagine anymore...

$50? I wouldn't.

I watched a demo of it at Macworld, and to me it seemed to fit the classic definition of "bloatware." I can't imagine ever using all of it's features ... especially since I don't have a menu bar that's three feet long. And there are good freeware/shareware alternatives for much of what the program does.

Me, I just want an update of PTH Clock for Panther, and there's no way I'm going to pay $50 for that.

I gave it a try, and it's not so easy to get to work as it may seem. If it was dirt cheap and maybe a bit more intuitive, I would consider it, but it is not worth it at all.
From free products that still work if you know how to use them (I still use PTH iTunesnotifier) to $50?
I... Don't.. Think... So!

Thanks for mentioning wClock ... it's a great little utility, and I've just installed it. Don't know how i missed it when I was searching for a PTHClock replacement.
