Hi, I am a new Mac user and I used to be an frequent IRC user back when I used Windows. Now I was wondering if there are any good irc clients out there for MACs? I am currently trying Colloquy but in the end, its not the same. In the end, I mainly want one that looks nice enough, and will let me access fservs (i don't seem to get anything when i do !list or try to type triggers on Colloquy) and setup a fserv of my own.

At most I use IRC only once a year, but when I wanted to get on to channels during MWSF I was quite pleased with Conversation. You can look at the other clients recommended by Appleinsider.

I was in your boat too, coming from windows I wanted something more like mirc. The two I use the most are Irc (shareware), and X-Chat Aqua(freeware).
