Hi everyone. I have a question about getting an Adobe PDF printer in the printer selection printer dialogue. I have the printer description but I don't know how in the Printer Setup Utility, but since there is no actual printer to select I can't set up the vritual 'Adobe PDF' printer.
We have one machine in the office which someone who use to work here had setup. We're using the latest CS package in OSX 10.3.8.
Any help about setting up the Adobe PDF virtual printer would be great cause it's makes a better PDF and cuts out having to make a .ps then using distiller.
Thanks

At least when installing Acrobat Professional it automatically inserts the PDF-option. Dont know about other way...

If you're using the CS package, why not export directly to PDF from the application? Just create a preset with all the specs that you need, and then you're good to go.

be sure to upgrade your version of acrobat to at least 6.0.1.
one of the 10.3 updates broke the Adobe PDF writer, the 6.0.1 update fixed it..
there is also some documentation at Adobe's technotes section.
